Website lead capture template for n8n
Send every website form submission to Google Sheets, skip bad emails, update returning contacts instead of duplicating them and get an instant email alert.
Free to use and modify. In n8n: Workflows → Import from file, then add your credentials. No sign-up needed.
How it works
- Your form posts name, email, company and message to the webhook.
- Fields are trimmed and the email is lower-cased.
- Invalid emails get a 422 response and are not saved.
- Valid leads are appended, or updated when the email already exists.
- You get an email alert with the lead details.
- The form receives a JSON success response.

Set it up in 10 minutes
- Connect Google Sheets and Gmail.
- Create a Leads sheet with columns: name, email, company, message, received_at.
- Paste the sheet URL and set your alert email address.
- Point your website form’s action (or fetch request) at the production webhook URL.
