Security, IP & NDAs
What your legal, security and procurement teams usually ask before working with an outside engineering partner.
You own the work
On payment, all intellectual property in the deliverables we create for you, including source code, designs, models we train for you and documentation, is assigned to you. Code is committed to repositories in your organisation, or transferred to them at handover, so you never depend on us for access.
Confidentiality and NDAs
We sign your NDA, or provide ours, before you share confidential details. Everyone on your project is bound by confidentiality obligations to SixSol. We do not show your project publicly without your written permission.
Access and secrets
- Least-privilege access to your systems, using individual accounts you can revoke.
- API keys and credentials kept server-side and in secret managers, never in code or chat.
- Two-factor authentication on our source control, email and cloud accounts.
- All access removed and credentials rotated at handover, on request.
AI and your data
We use business APIs from model providers whose published terms do not use API data for training by default, and we can deploy open-source models on your own infrastructure when data must stay in-house. We log what AI agents do and add human approval for sensitive actions.
Privacy compliance
We design systems to meet the privacy rules that apply to you, including GDPR and UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, LGPD, POPIA and the Saudi PDPL. When we process personal data for you, we act as your processor and can sign a data processing agreement.
Secure delivery
- Code review before merge and separate staging and production environments.
- Dependency and security updates during the project, and a handover checklist covering backups, monitoring and access.
- Written documentation so your own team, or another vendor, can take over.
Contracting
